In Milford, Massachusetts, a Friday afternoon drug raid culminated in the arrest of a 23-year-old man, following an investigation into local cocaine distribution. According to a social media post by the Milford Police Department, the raid was carried out by the Milford Police Detective Bureau, along with their K-9 and Special Operations Units.
According to the Milford Police Department, the operation took place at approximately 2:04 p.m. at a residence located at 90.5 Spruce Street. Upon entry, officers identified and located Luiz Bossanelli, the primary suspect of their investigation, on the second floor of the dwelling. Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino later praised the efforts of the involved officers, stating, "The continued efforts by our investigators and specialty units to take drugs off the streets of our community are to be commended."
Detectives discovered and seized an array of illegal items, including cocaine, blue M30 pills, digital scales, and packaging materials. With the evidence at hand, Bossanelli now faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute and drug possession of Class A and Class B substances, as well as violating drug laws near a school or park.
While these charges are substantial, the Milford Police Department reminds the public that Bossanelli, like all accused individuals, maintains a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a legal proceeding.
