The Millington Police Department, together with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team, arrested Kionn Rodgers on Wednesday. The Millington Tennessee Police Department stated on social media that Rodgers was taken into custody without incident while officers served active warrants for multiple charges.
Rodgers, a convicted felon and registered sex offender, was wanted on charges of Aggravated Kidnapping and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon. He was arrested through the joint efforts of the Millington Tennessee Police Department, county authorities, and federal partners. In a statement, the Millington Tennessee Police Department said, "We’re proud of our officers’ hard work and grateful for the strong partnerships and teamwork that help us bring offenders to justice and keep our community safe."
According to the Millington Tennessee Police Department on their Facebook page, Kionn Rodgers was quickly taken into custody through joint efforts between local and federal law enforcement. The department emphasized its commitment to community safety, stating: "Millington welcomes all who follow the law. If you don’t, we will use every resource at our disposal to hold you accountable."
