In response to flooding in Milwaukee, Department of Public Works Commissioner Kruschke announced that both City Drop-Off Centers will waive fees on Sunday to support residents during storm recovery. The City of Milwaukee shared this information on social media.
The Drop-Off Centers at 3879 W Lincoln Ave and 6660 N Industrial Rd are open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this relief period, people can dispose of storm debris and other waste for free. This allows residents to remove flood-related debris without charge, as reported by the City of Milwaukee.
According to the City of Milwaukee on their Facebook page, residents are asked to report flooding, stranded vehicles, or downed trees by calling 414-286-CITY (2489) or using the MKEmobile app. For emergencies, call 911. The city provided free access to Drop-Off Centers to help with cleanup. Residents are reminded to be patient during the recovery process.
