During the Amber Alert, further details about the victim and suspect were made public, Edwards was described as a 180-pound, 5-foot-9-inch tall male with brown eyes and black hair, and Montez was last seen wearing a gray shirt with animal print, white and brown mittens, and yellow socks the Georgia Bureau of Investigation described Edwards, in a statement obtained by NewsChannel 9, and add they believed Montez was in extreme danger.
