A vehicle was pulled from a swimming pool in the gated community of Encantada, Pembroke Pines, after a perplexing incident occurred this morning. According to WSVN, authorities were confronted with the sight of an upside-down car in the pool upon their arrival at the scene located at the 18000 block of Southwest 15th Street. The car was found with one of its doors open and exhibited front-end damage likely from an impact.
Authorities are investigating how a car ended up in a pool, upside down, after breaking through a fence. It is currently unclear whether anyone was injured in the incident. The vehicle, which has already been extracted from the aquatic entrapment, is a white sedan, as per NBC Miami.
Footage from the scene displayed the broken fence through which the car appeared to have crashed, and showed the waterlogged white sedan with deployed airbags amidst floating tree debris. While details surrounding the incident's cause have not yet been confirmed by authorities, the car's noticeable damage suggested a collision of significant force occurred.
Rescue crews, as captured in the video, managed to attach the car and lift it out of the pool, hoisting it past the backyard fence from where it entered. These events are still under investigation.
