Early this morning, New Orleans Police reported a homicide in the Eighth District on the 2100 block of Decatur Street. Around 3:10 a.m., officers responded to a call near Frenchmen and Decatur streets and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to find out who was responsible and why it happened. No suspect details have been released yet. The New Orleans Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
