The burglary occurred around 5:30 p.m. on July 22. About an hour later, McCoy was seen on camera holding items believed to be stolen from the vehicle. He then left the area on a red bicycle and went to the 5600 block of Tullis Drive, where he escaped on foot. Police have obtained a warrant for McCoy’s arrest and ask anyone with information to contact them, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department.

Eric McCoy, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 120 pounds, born December 10, 1998, is wanted by the New Orleans Police Department for an auto burglary. A photo has been released to help identify him. The police ask anyone with information about McCoy’s location to contact them.
