Police in New Orleans are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in an identity theft case. On May 30, the pair allegedly opened a credit account in another person’s name at a retail store in the 2900 block of South Claiborne Avenue. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, which have now been released by the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD).
Authorities have not disclosed how the suspects obtained the victim’s personal information or whether they are connected to other similar crimes. The New Orleans Police Department is urging residents to review the released images and provide any information that could assist in the investigation.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the New Orleans Police Department directly or submit an anonymous tip. The investigation remains ongoing.
