The Norcross Police Department is currently investigating a domestic-related homicide that unfolded last Friday night. They reported that the incident took place at a townhome complex on Pine Oak Drive where the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was seen assisting local authorities around 11 p.m., according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Police have taken a man into custody, charging him with malice murder. According to Atlanta News First, officers responded to the scene, but the details of the arrest and events leading up to the incident have not been disclosed.
The Norcross Police Department and GBI continue to investigate. Authorities have yet to release the identities of the victim and the accused, as well as any information about a possible motive.
