
The NYPD is seeking the public's help to locate an individual connected to an assault that took place in the Bronx last month. According to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers, a 23-year-old woman was attacked in the early hours on Fulton Avenue near Claremont Parkway.
The incident, which occurred on July 19, at around 12:35 a.m., involved the assailant trying to engage the victim in conversation. When she continued to walk away, the individual reportedly slashed her in the back of the head with an unknown object.
Details about the suspect are still scarce, and the authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. In an attempt to gather leads, NYPD Crimestoppers has issued a call for tips through social media, inviting concerned citizens to either direct message them @nypdtips or phone in to 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
