An 83-year-old woman died following a collision with a vehicle last Saturday, in the private parking lot of 600 Showers Dr., as reported by the Mountain View authorities. The woman, a resident of Palo Alto, was initially evaluated at the scene and promptly transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries two days after the incident.
Mountain View Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:25 p.m., immediately assessing the situation and administering aid to the injured pedestrian. In an unexpected turn of events, despite the immediate attention, the woman passed away, as confirmed by the Mountain View Police Department in a recent statement.
The driver involved in the accident has reportedly been cooperating with law enforcement and staying on the scene to provide necessary details. It is understood that neither drugs nor alcohol was a contributing factor.
