Phoenix company Pax has grown quickly in the ride-hailing sector. The app connects passengers with private drivers. Since starting earlier this year, Pax has added more than 100 drivers and nearly 900 users in the Valley area, according to ABC15.

Pax in Phoenix offers riders the ability to schedule pickups in advance at no extra cost. Drivers meet strict standards for presentation and customer service. Pax president Daniel Sidler said, "…Some of these drivers really focus on their executive-style service and we also have drivers that want to build their business with bachelorette or bridal parties, where they’ll roll out a red carpet and take photos of the group and it’s just really fun," as stated by ABC15. Driver profiles on the Pax website show these options so customers can choose the type of ride they want.

Pax, launched a few months ago in Phoenix, offers drivers higher compensation and passengers personalized service without extra surcharges. Pax president Daniel Sidler said the drivers provide a variety of services. Business Journal and ABC15 reported on the company’s early growth, and it is quickly gaining users in the local ride-hailing market.
