Pierce County Auditor Linda Farmer has earned the Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) designation, a professional certification for election officials in the United States. She also serves as co-chair of the Executive Steering Committee for VoteWA, the state’s voter registration and information portal, and is a member of the Washington State Voting Systems Review Board.

Her background includes positions with the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, Comcast, the cities of Tacoma and Federal Way, and various professional certifications in public relations and diversity leadership. Farmer holds degrees from the University of Washington and Syracuse University.

In addition to her professional roles, she has served on the Lakewood City Council, the 2016 Pierce County Charter Review Commission, and several nonprofit boards.
