
In Pinal County, Arizona, 34-year-old Peri Cann has been charged with animal cruelty and kidnapping. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, Cann allegedly forced his ex-girlfriend and her dog into the desert on May 13. There, he reportedly gave her a choice: shoot her dog or lure her boyfriend to the desert.
A Pinal County man, Cann, is being held on a $200,000 bond after allegedly shooting a woman’s dog and leaving its body in the desert. The woman led law enforcement to the site. The Pinal County Attorney's Office stated, "The victim also provided law enforcement a video the defendant sent to her where he admits to killing her dog," as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. Cann’s next court appearance, a Pretrial Conference, is set for August 25 at the Pinal County Superior Court.
