
Early yesterday, Pleasant Hill Police made a significant narcotics arrest after stopping Quinne McKinnon, 46, for multiple vehicle code violations while cycling through the city. McKinnon, a Pleasant Hill resident, was subsequently apprehended on charges of narcotics possession with intent to distribute.
Following the initial arrest, PHPD detectives were quick to obtain and execute a search warrant at McKinnon's home on the 1600 block of Saint Lawrence Way. The search, conducted alongside patrol staff at approximately 10:30 AM, yielded additional narcotics, firearms, and evidence suggestive of criminal operations. However, as of now, no further arrests have been linked to McKinnon's case.
The Pleasant Hill Police Department's social media post detailed the incident and confirmed that McKinnon has been booked into the county jail. It was also mentioned that the findings from the case will be reviewed by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
