
Blount County residents can expect a temporary interruption in their daily commute as roadwork continues on the Carpenters Grade Road project. The Blount County Sheriff's Office took to social media to announce an upcoming closure that will see a portion of Peterson Lane shut down.
In their Facebook post, the Sheriff's Office provided the essential details of the closure, noting the specific section of the road involved. "A portion of Peterson Lane will be closed from Carpenters Grade Road to Mark Lane beginning Tuesday August 26 through Wednesday, August 27 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. both days," as the office posted.
