The victim, found unconscious and not breathing, was declared deceased at the scene by arriving medical staff.
According to the San José Police Department, the homicide unit initiated an investigation that led to the apprehension and booking of Jerry Cao, a 42-year-old San José resident, for the crime of murder. The incarceration occurred at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
