The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office has intensified its search for Koy Kouang Saechao, a 53-year-old Antelope resident reported missing since July 31. Standing at 4'11" and weighing about 100 pounds, Saechao, who has black hair and brown eyes, was last seen in a black shirt and gray pants near her home. The case took on new urgency when detectives received information regarding a traumatic brain injury Saechao had suffered that led to memory loss, prompting them to update her status to an at-risk missing person.
According to a social media post by the Sheriff's Office, these revelations about her medical condition have escalated the concerns about her welfare. The authorities are reaching out to the community, asking anyone with information about Saechao's whereabouts to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office immediately at 916-874-5115. The details of her disappearance and current condition paint a picture of an individual who may be disoriented or in need of assistance.
The family of Saechao reports to the Sheriff’s Office that the memory loss stemming from her brain injury could greatly impact her ability to find her way back home. Community members have been advised to be on the lookout for Saechao and to report any sightings to authorities, as the first hours and days following the report of a missing at-risk person are critical.
