Local authorities are intensifying efforts to find a man, Jacob Angeles, who vanished after attending the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly last weekend. According to WXYZ, Angeles was last seen at the festival last Saturday around 11 a.m. and did not make it back home that night.
The Rockwood Police Department has expressed concern as Angeles also missed his work shift the following day, which they noted is out of character for him; he was supposed to show up at 3 a.m. but never did, and there wasn't even a call from him to explain the absence. He has been described as driving a silver 2006 Jeep Commander, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to get in touch with the authorities.
In an attempt to reach a wider audience, the Rockwood Police Department also took to Facebook with a social media post stating, "MISSING PERSON," and elaborated on the unsettling nature of Angeles' disappearance, emphasizing that this kind of behavior is not typical for him.
The community, while aware of Angeles' mysterious disappearance, is being asked to assist in the search and report any sightings or pieces of information that might point toward his current location and why a man would leave the jovial and temporal bounds of a Renaissance Festival, and then seemingly dissolve into the modern ether, his absence is a gap of worry in the fabric of everyday life in Holly.
