In an act of community support, the Sevierville Sunrise Rotary Club joined hands with Tennessee State Bank and Publix to assemble "Go Bags" for local law enforcement officers. The Sevier County Sheriff's Office received these care packages as part of the Rotary Club's Service First Thursday Initiative. Filled with practical items including various snacks, wipes, hand sanitizers, and a note of thanks, the bags aim to support deputies during their patrol shifts.
The Sevier County Sheriff's Office took to social media to express their gratitude towards the Rotary Club for their thoughtful gesture. "Rotary consistently contributes to many needs across our community and we appreciate them thinking of us," the post read. Additionally, acknowledgment was given to the local bank and grocery chain for their involvement in putting together the donations.
