On a Sunday afternoon in Newark, a drive-by shooting incident shook the 6200 block of Baine Avenue. The Newark Police Department reported that at approximately 3:57 PM, their officers were dispatched following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found no suspect, as the perpetrator had fled the scene in a white Sports Utility Vehicle, according to the official social media post.
Investigators confirmed that two shots were fired at individuals standing outside, but no one was injured. Detectives continue their investigation, interview witnesses, and review evidence.
