The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for 63-year-old Jacob Egelhoff, who has been reported missing since Wednesday morning, according to a bulletin from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Egelhoff, a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, was last seen walking away from his vehicle on West Frontage Road near Kilometer 36 in Tubac. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds, and was last observed wearing green shorts, a blue and red checkered shirt, and black shoes.
Authorities have expressed particular concern as Egelhoff suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to appear confused or disoriented. Those who might encounter him are urged to approach with care and consideration, and to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Department at 520-761-7869 or dial 911 with any information regarding his whereabouts.
