
Barbara Dee Crosby, 85, was safely found after being reported missing in Sonora. According to the Tuolumne County Sheriff on their Facebook page, she and her dog Poncho were located on a hillside following a search, and locals who found Poncho helped lead to Crosby’s rescue later that evening.
Barbara Crosby, a resident of Skyline Place assisted living, was reported missing. Because of her dementia, authorities were concerned for her safety. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office coordinated with local residents to locate her, and she was safely found.
Barbara Crosby, a resident of Skyline Place senior living, went missing around 10 p.m., possibly while walking her tan chihuahua mix, Poncho. There was an unconfirmed sighting of her the next morning between 9:30 and 10 a.m., as reported by Hoodline. The Tuolumne County sheriff’s office asked the public for any information and coordinated search and rescue efforts, with community members assisting in the search.
