Identified as Christopher Lewis of St. Louis City, MO, the case has prompted a homicide investigation that police are currently undertaking. According to a statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers received a call related to a shooting at a residence in the 4300 block of Randall Place just after noon.
