"Mostly sunny, with a high near 87," predicts the NWS for Wednesday, followed by a slightly cooler evening as the low nears around 67 degrees. Moving towards the weekend, St. Louis can expect more sunny days with temperatures steadying in the high-80s and clear nights with lows comfortably in the mid-60s, indicating that today's surge in mercury will be an anomaly rather than a persistent menace.
