The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) has released updated findings regarding two bodies discovered earlier this year in an apartment on the 4000 block of Laclede, initially reported as a murder-suicide.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, autopsies by the Medical Examiner determined that Daniel Hults, 46, died from homicidal asphyxia, while 73-year-old Kathleen Hults died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. District 5 officers found the bodies on March 28 after responding to a call at the residence.

No suspects are being sought, and the incident is considered isolated to the apartment. The Homicide Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.
