
A traffic collision in Black Mountain Ranch last evening resulted in serious injuries for a young girl. According to the San Diego Police Department, a 16-year-old male driving a Toyota pickup truck turned left. He collided with a 13-year-old female on an electric motorcycle just after 9:00 PM at the intersection of Paseo Del Sur and Babcock Street.
The victim was southbound on Babcock Street when the accident occurred. The teenage girl sustained a fractured right femur. It appears that DUI was not a factor in this incident. The SDPD Traffic Division responded and has commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
