County Road 801 in Osage County will be closed temporarily on Wednesday next week for pavement improvements. The closure will take place east of Linn from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and is expected to be completed in one day, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The project is being carried out in coordination with construction crews at the entrance of U.S. Route 50. The Missouri Department of Transportation noted that the schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the closure and plan ahead to avoid delays. The Missouri Department of Transportation also reminded drivers to follow safety guidelines in work zones, including wearing seatbelts, avoiding phone use, obeying signs, and slowing down near workers.
