The tranquility of a remote area in northeast Antelope Valley was shattered on Sunday when three people were found shot to death. The victims, located near 215th Street East and East Palmdale Boulevard in the city of Lancaster, included two men and a woman. KTLA reports the discovery was made after deputies responded to the scene just before 5 p.m. following reports of an incident.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was sparse with details and has not yet provided the public with the victims' identities or their approximate ages. According to ABC7, the deceased have been identified as a 44-year-old man, a 65-year-old woman, and a second man believed to be in his 40s.
