Eight standout alumni from the University of Cincinnati have earned a spot on the Cincinnati Business Courier's 2025 "Forty Under 40" list. This honor, which has been identifying the city's future influencers for over 30 years, cuts across various sectors, from medicine and engineering to business and the arts. The official celebration to commend the achievements of these rising stars is scheduled for September 18.
In reflecting the diversity of fields these honorees excel in, the UC Chief Alumni Officer Jennifer Heisey didn't miss a beat in expressing pride. "The Bearcats in this year’s ‘Forty Under 40’ class exemplify the success and impact of UC alumni everywhere,” Heisey said in a statement obtained by the University of Cincinnati. The University also took the opportunity to extend "heartfelt congratulations to the honorees on this well-deserved achievement," ensuring the former students that their alma mater recognizes their hard-fought triumphs.
The distinguished UC alumni joining the "Forty Under 40" Class of 2025 include Dr. Endia Crabtree, Justin Freeman, Christin Goodale, Jeff Levine, Lauren Lohmann, Megan Meyer, Peter Niehoff, and Emma Off. All have distinguished themselves in their respective careers, crystallizing the impact of a UC education. With each of their stories comes a unique testament to the university's role in molding the future leaders of Cincinnati and beyond.
Among the UC graduates, Dr. Endia Crabtree from the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) class of 2016, and Justin Freeman, the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) alum from 2011, are part of this elite selection. They stand alongside Christin Goodale of the College of Medicine class of 2022, Jeff Levine from the Law school's 2015 cohort, Lauren Lohmann, who graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) in 2020, Megan Meyer from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) class of 2013, Peter Niehoff, a triple graduate of A&S in 2009, 2014, and 2020, and Emma Off, another product of the Law school in 2011. They've all brought distinction to their fields and, by extension, to their alma mater, which continues to celebrate alumni excellence with gusto.
