
Two workers found themselves in a precarious situation on Friday morning when their boom truck was struck by a box truck in Scottsdale. As reported by ABC15, the collision took place at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Lincoln Drive around 6 a.m. The boom truck, which the workers were using to perform maintenance on street lights, was sideswiped, consequently leaving the workers trapped in the air on the extended boom.
While the workers were elevated in the roadway, authorities and emergency crews promptly arrived at the scene. One of the individuals sustained minor injuries according to the Scottsdale police.
