The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for an at-risk missing person, Meilin Gu, on behalf of the San Jose Police Department. The alert was triggered following Gu's disappearance yesterday. Meilin Gu, an 81-year-old woman, was reported missing after she was last seen around 7:00 PM in the San Jose, Santa Clara County area.
According to the CHP Alerts, Meilin Gu is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, Gu was wearing a red sweater and green pants. Authorities believe she may be on foot, increasing concerns for her well-being given her age and potential vulnerabilities.
The San Jose Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Meilin Gu's whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search.
