An Ashburn man has been arrested following a fatal shooting that transpired over the weekend, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Zachary Taylor Brown-Earnest, 31, faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in the death of Sinclair Wynn, a 35-year-old man from Sycamore, GA.

Early Saturday morning, at approximately 1:05 a.m., the GBI was called in to assist the Ashburn Police Department with the investigation of the incident; this took place after an argument broke out between Brown-Earnest and Wynn at a gathering in a home on West End Street, where Brown-Earnest allegedly discharged a firearm, resulting in Wynn's death, he ran to his car and collapsed investigators informed the public through a statement on their official website.

Wynn was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the circumstances that led to the altercation are still under examination by authorities; the GBI is actively pursuing leads and urges the public to come forward with any information that might aid in the investigation.
