Michael J. Pusateri, a 59-year-old former softball coach with associations to various teams within Baltimore County, was taken into police custody, facing a series of grave allegations. According to a report from FOX Baltimore, Pusateri is charged with offenses that include rape, assault, sex abuse of a minor, and soliciting child pornography.
The Baltimore County Police have disclosed that Pusateri has a coaching background that includes positions with the Parkville Recreation Council Softball Coach and volunteer work as an assistant coach at Kenwood High School, as well as experience in other local areas. It's this multilayered involvement with youth sports that has led authorities to fear there may be more victims yet uncovered. As of this report, Pusateri is being held on no bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, and a bail review hearing was on the docket.
