The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community as they continue the search for a teenager who went missing last week. Seventeen-year-old Sara Gerardo Guillen was reported last seen in Maryville last Wednesday, as stated by the officials from the sheriff's office.
Authorities are focusing their efforts in and around the Knoxville area, where Sara might be accompanying an unidentified man, as mentioned in a release from the sheriff's office and reported by WVLT. Standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 148 pounds, Sara is easily distinguishable with her brown eyes and black hair. Shortly after vanishing, the young girl was seen on the 2600 block of East Broadway in Maryville.
To aid in her safe return, the Blount County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about Sara's whereabouts to come forward. The sheriff’s office urges the public to direct any relevant information to Blount County E-911 at 865-983-3620 or Investigator Taylor at 865-273-5114, both of whom are actively involved in this case, according to WATE.
According to a statement by the Blount County Sheriff's Office, which WBIR cited, Sara Gerardo Guillen is of Hispanic descent and was last known to be in the company of an unknown man hailing from Knoxville or nearby areas.
