The Boston Police Department is on the lookout for a person of interest after a series of arson incidents in the city's iconic Boston Common and along Commonwealth Avenue Mall yesterday afternoon. The incidents, which involved several trash barrels being set on fire, occurred around 2:30 PM, according to a community alert from the Boston Police Department.
Investigators from the Fire Investigation Unit are spearheading the inquiry, and have been combing through evidence, the call has gone out for the public to assist where they can, if someone has any relevant information, they're urged to step forward.
