A post from the Cincinnati Police Department’s official X account described Menolasino as last seen almost a week before the notice went out. This urgent appeal comes amidst a growing unease that grips the community when one of its own seems to vanish into the ether, palpable in the retweets and comments beneath the Police Department's post.
While the authorities have not yet provided further details on the circumstances surrounding Michael's disappearance, the few bits shared with the public have sparked an all-too-familiar anxiety; a reminder of our collective vulnerability when faced with the sudden absence of those whom we know, or in some cases, those we pass by without a second glance, now inexplicably gone from our daily landscape.
