Violence once again stained the streets of our city as a domestic dispute escalated to a stabbing incident at 2980 Delmar Lane NW. In a statement released by the Atlanta Police Department and posted on their official website, it was disclosed that yesterday, a 31-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his chest, and a 32-year-old woman received a stab wound to her left hand. Atlanta PD’s announcement noted that while the man was taken to the hospital for treatment, the woman was tended to at the scene by medical professionals.
According to the preliminary investigation, the officers responded to the scene following the report of the stabbing at approximately 9:53 PM. Both individuals were found to be alert, conscious, and breathing despite their injuries. Investigators from the Domestic Violence Unit were called to the address to delve deeper into the specifics of the incident.
