A triple homicide shook the community near 1000 N. Raynor after a gunman opened fire, leaving three people dead before succumbing to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The El Paso Police Department, having responded to the chaotic scene last Thursday, is piecing together the grim sequence of events.
Officers were nearby when the sound of gunfire erupted at approximately 1:23 pm, prompting an immediate response. On arrival, they found four individuals with gunshot wounds. Police administered first aid before FMS was called to the scene, later transporting all four individuals to local hospitals, where the three victims were pronounced deceased, along with the alleged shooter, who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound, as detailed by the El Paso Police Department.
The department's Crimes Against Persons unit has taken the helm of the investigation. While the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, authorities are urging anyone with information to step forward.
