
The El Paso Police Department has reported a grim find on Olive Avenue. In the 1900 block of the residential area, the body of Jorge Serna was discovered on September 15 after officers responded to a welfare check call. The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds, and his death is now the subject of a murder investigation helmed by the department's Crimes Against Persons Unit, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The day following the welfare check, police apprehended Alejandra Ramirez in connection with the crime. Ramirez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility and is held without bail as of this writing.
