The Homicide Division of Ellendale is currently investigating a case involving a man found critically injured next to railroad tracks yesterday. According to a press release from the local police, a 47-year-old male was discovered near the junction of Magnolia & McCausland Avenues around 3 a.m. after officers responded to an emergency call.
Evidence of head trauma was clear on the man found lying on the ground, as per the initial observations of the responding officers. Paramedics quickly arrived at the scene and rushed the critically injured victim to the hospital. Despite the efforts to save him, the man's injuries proved fatal.
