
A crash happened on Saturday morning on Interstate 84 near Corbett, leaving one person dead and another seriously injured. The accident occurred around 3:45 a.m. near milepost 24. First responders found two cars damaged, with one fully on fire, according to KATU.
AMR medics helped rescue a person trapped near a burning vehicle. “The quick action of the AMR medics clearly saved the occupant of the other vehicle,” Corbett Fire said in a statement, as reported by KGW. Firefighters put out the flames and assisted until the injured person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A driver died in a wrong-way crash in Oregon after their vehicle caught fire, with the Oregon State Police confirming the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, as mentioned by KPTV. Authorities have not released additional details as the case remains under criminal investigation.
