Flagstaff residents can expect a temporary closure at the intersection of Fourth Street and Cedar Avenue/Lockett Road this upcoming Saturday, September 13, as the Arizona Department of Transportation and the City of Flagstaff put the final touches on the Fourth-Lockett Roundabout Project. For those planning to traverse this area, it's important to note that the closure is slated from the early hours of 5 a.m. until the stroke of midnight, to safely apply final roadway striping.
During the one-day interruption, detours will be clearly marked for cars and pedestrians, so finding an alternate route should be less of a hassle than you might initially think. Public transportation users will have to quickly adjust as well, with Mountain Line set to temporarily relocate several bus stops and routes throughout the disruptive period.
