Yesterday morning in Brown County, Ohio, a serious collision left four individuals with serious injuries, prompting an intense response from emergency teams. LOCAL12 reported on the incident, stating that emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the intersection of SR 32 and US 62 shortly before 8 a.m. A westbound pickup truck on SR 32 ran a red light and struck a passenger van travelling north on US 62, as detailed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash led to three victims being airlifted to the hospital, including two passengers from the van and the driver of the pickup. The van's driver, meanwhile, was transported by ambulance, according to LOCAL12. In the aftermath, the thoroughfare was closed as the State Highway Patrol embarked on their investigation, which allowed later to fully reopen all lanes before 10 a.m.
Additional details provided by WLWT highlighted the make and model of the vehicles involved—a 2024 Toyota Tacoma and a 2023 Ford E-350 passenger van. The report from WLWT indicated that both the passengers and the two drivers sustained serious injuries.
While the crash continues to be investigated by the OSP's Georgetown Post, FOX19 confirmed that all injured parties were seriously affected by the wreck. “All drivers and occupants were seriously injured as a result of the wreck,” stated in the report by FOX19.
