
The Franklin Police Department announced officer promotions. The promotions include Captain Clayton Cates, formerly Training Lieutenant, who will now oversee more of the department's operations, and Lieutenant Bobby Dilworth, formerly Patrol Sergeant, who will lead the FLEX Unit and manage specialized tasks, according to the City of Franklin.
Sergeant Wes Brooks, formerly a detective, has returned to patrol duties. Mike Oliver has been promoted from Master Patrol Officer to Detective. Ryan Langhi has been promoted from Patrol Officer to Master Patrol Officer.
