Residents of Germantown, Tennessee, have a new shopping destination to explore with the grand opening of the retail store Daiso on Saturday at the Germantown Plaza. This Japanese-inspired store, known for offering a varied assortment of home goods, beauty products, and stationery items, marks its first foray into the Tennessee market, according to details released by the City of Germantown.
The grand opening will be commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Mayor Mike Palazzolo at 8:45 a.m., the doors to the public are set to open shortly thereafter at 9 a.m., where shoppers will get the chance to snag some exclusive offers—part of Daiso's opening celebrations. "The opening of Daiso’s first Tennessee store here in Germantown is a testament to our city’s strong retail community," Mayor Palazzolo told the City of Germantown.
Early shoppers can take advantage of the festivities, as the first 200 customers who spend at least $20 on opening day will receive a special Daiso Tennessee tote bag as a token of appreciation. On September 7, when Daiso opens at 10 a.m., early customers will have another opportunity to receive a mystery plushie with purchases of $20 or more.
