Cleary Lake Regional Park is hosting an archery event that promises to hit the mark for both beginners and more seasoned archers. On Sunday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the park’s Outdoor Recreation School instructors will be on hand to teach the basics of archery, including essential safety rules and fundamental skills.
Participants aged 8 and above are welcome, and says the Scott County website, "children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult."
For the practical matters, the cost of joining the event is $12 per participant, which covers the session and the equipment provided. Reservations must be made two days prior, which means the deadline is September 19.
