The Horizon City Police Department has issued a traffic advisory that will impact drivers in the area starting Thursday evening. According to a social media post by the Horizon City Police Department, Darrington Road will be shut down in both directions between Homestead and Horizon Boulevard. The closure will commence on Thursday, September 25, at 8:00 PM, and the road is expected to reopen on Friday, September 26, by 8:00 AM.
Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid any inconveniences. The department has suggested detours to help fully accommodate the flowing traffic during the roadwork. Drivers will be able to use Ashford and Alderwood Manor Drive or Kenazo and Eastlake Boulevard as alternative paths.
