
This morning in Knoxville, a police operation unfolded following a domestic violence incident. According to an official social media post by the Knoxville Police Department, 29-year-old Da’Kari Lloyd faces multiple charges after his arrest. Police responded to a call around 1 a.m. and arrested Lloyd inside his apartment on the 3500 block of Lake Brook Boulevard following a report of him assaulting two women.
Responding officers were able to quickly locate and apprehend Lloyd. While taking him into custody, they noticed handgun boxes and a white powdery substance in plain view. This observation led them to obtain and to execute a search warrant on the premise. The search yielded not only firearms including a Glock handgun and an AR-15, but also a significant amount of narcotics and cash. Authorities reported seizing over $2,000 in cash, along with 370 grams of what is suspected to be methamphetamine and 100 grams of a suspected fentanyl.
Lloyd, whose record is now marked with this incident, is currently facing serious legal charges. Specifically, he is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, domestic assault, and schedule II drug violations.
