Marked detour routes will be in place to guide vehicles around the site, the start of the closure is at US 61, and it stretches to Palmer Road, the affected stretch will thus force drivers to take alternative paths including US 61 South to LA 621, then to LA 73, and back onto LA 74—or inversely via US 61 North to LA 429, then to LA 44, and rejoining LA 74 for those heading in the opposite direction.
